The upcoming 100 METERS Anime Film is picking up pace with some exciting updates. The film’s production team has officially revealed ten new cast members who will be joining the project, expanding the roster of characters fans can look forward to.

100 METERS Anime Film: Release Date and More
100 METERS is an upcoming anime movie based on the manga by Uoto. It’s set to release in theaters across Japan on September 19, 2025, and will also be shown in North America in October through GKIDS. Fans in the UK and France will also get to watch it, as the film is getting a wide international release.
The animation is being done by Rock ’n’ Roll Mountain, with Kenji Iwaisawa directing the film. Yasuyuki Muto is writing the script, Keisuke Kojima is in charge of character designs and animation, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi is creating the music. This same creative team received a lot of attention earlier at the Annecy Animation Festival.
