Alongside the release date, a new teaser image for the film has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the visual style of the adaptation. The image features actor Hokuto Matsumura in the starring role of Takaki Tono, standing contemplatively before a blossoming sakura tree, set against a wintery backdrop. This iconic imagery immediately evokes the melancholic and beautiful atmosphere that fans cherish from the original anime.

The live-action film is directed by Yoshiyuki Okuyama, with Fumiko Suzuki handling the script. As Takaki journeys to reunite with Akari, memories and emotions resurface, leaving them to wonder if they will ever truly find their way back to each other and share their deepest feelings.
