“Shangri-La Frontier” season two is directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka at studio C2C. The series features Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling the series composition, Ayumi Kurashima designing the characters, and MONACA composing the music. The anime adapts Ryosuke Fuji’s manga.
The story follows Rakuro Hizutome, a skilled “crap-game hunter,” in a near-future world where outdated display-screen games are common. Rakuro decides to play “Shangri-La Frontier,” a highly acclaimed VR game with millions of players.
