The developers of Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King have announced that the game will officially shut down on August 21, 2025, at 2:00 AM. The developers shared this news on June 20, 2025. This means the game will be ending after running for almost two years.
It was based on the popular Black Clover anime, allowing players to enjoy magic battles and characters from the show.

Black Clover: Rise of the Wizard King was launched less than two years ago, giving fans the chance to enjoy the magical world of Black Clover on their smartphones. Players could play as popular characters like Asta and Yuno in exciting battles.
In a message shared on Garena’s official X and Facebook pages, the developers thanked players for their support and apologized for the game’s early closure.
They admitted it was a difficult decision and said the game will always hold a special place in their hearts. Although the game didn’t last as long as they had hoped, they truly valued the memories and experiences created with the fans during its journey.

Key Shutdown Timeline
While the game had a strong start and lots of fan support, it will now be shutting down after a short run. The shutdown process begins on June 20, 2025, when in-app purchases will be turned off and no new accounts can be made.
Then, on June 26, the game will receive its final update, which includes new content related to Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, along with a special event and two new characters.
The game will officially go offline on August 21, 2025, at 2:00 AM (UTC-5), after which it will no longer be playable. From August 21 to September 25, players who have unused paid currency (Premium Black Crystals) can request a refund or transfer the currency to selected Garena games.
