Since its initial release on KakaoPage, Solo Leveling has consistently maintained its position as the top web novel and webtoon on the platform, accumulating an astonishing 14.3 billion cumulative views worldwide. Its anime adaptation achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Korean animation to dominate nine major categories at the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, including the prestigious Anime of the Year, Best Action, and Best Character awards. Byeon Woo-seok, one of Korea’s most sought-after actors, will embody Sung Jin-woo. Renowned for his compelling performances in titles like 20th Century Girl and Lovely Runner, Woo-seok has rapidly ascended to global stardom. His fitting nickname, “만찢남” (meaning “straight out of a manhwa (comic)”), underscores his perfect fit for the role, and he is poised to deliver a memorable portrayal of Jin-woo’s evolution and action-packed journey.
