Fans of Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian have something to look forward to. Season 2 is officially on the way and will come out in 2026. To share the good news, the makers released a new teaser visual that shows a cute moment between Alya and Masachika.
Even though the exact release date has not been announced yet, many fans are already excited to see more of their fun and romantic school story.
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Season 2 Visuals
The anime is based on a light novel series written by SunSunSun and illustrated by Momoco. The new teaser visual shows Alya blushing and looking shyly at Masachika, while he looks back at her with a nervous but kind smile. It perfectly shows the sweet and romantic feeling that fans love about the show.
The original author, SunSunSun, shared that Season 2 will not only follow the books but will also include new scenes written by them specially for the anime. This means the story will have some fresh and exciting moments, created with care by both the writer and the anime team.
Some of the main staff are coming back for Season 2. Yuka Yamada will again handle the story composition, and Yūhei Murota is returning as the character designer and animation director.
This time, Hiroshi Haraguchi will direct the season, taking over from Ryota Ito. Sung-min Kim will also join as the assistant director. The music will be made by Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Ryō Kobayashi will return as the producer.

Plot Recap & Season 2 Expectations
In Season 1, we met Alya, a smart and beautiful half-Russian girl who hides her feelings by speaking in Russian. She sits next to Masachika, a relaxed classmate who secretly understands Russian and hears her secret love confessions. He pretends not to know and enjoys the moments quietly.
Season 2 will follow the Summer Vacation Arc, where the student council goes on a fun beach trip. Fans can also expect more focus on Yuki and her connection with the group, along with more sweet and funny moments between the characters.
