Assassination Classroom fans have something to be excited about. A new film titled Minna no Jikan (“Everyone’s Time”) is set to release in March 2026. The film will continue right where the original anime left off, once again featuring Class 3-E and their unforgettable yellow teacher, but will be focusing on stories that were not included in the original anime.

This is a perfect balance of nostalgia and newness, something comfortable yet new for long-time fans.

Assassination Classroom Celebrates 10 Years With New Film

As part of the anime’s 10th anniversary, Assassination Classroom: Minna no Jikan will arrive in Japanese theaters on March 20, 2026. What makes this film special is that it will finally bring to life stories from the manga that never appeared in the original TV series. Fans can look forward to seeing extra chapters and character moments that have only existed on the page until now.

The movie is being produced by Studio Lerche, the same studio behind the original anime. This time, Masaki Kitamura will direct, taking over from Seiji Kishi, while longtime writer Makoto Uezu returns to handle the script. That means the film will keep the same style and heart that fans remember. On the visual side, character designs will be done by Aya Higami, known for her work on After-school Hanako-kun.

This release is also the final highlight of the 10th-anniversary celebrations. The first two events included a rebroadcast of both anime seasons and a special radio appearance in 2025. With Minna no Jikan, the celebration will end on a high note, offering something completely new instead of just revisiting old material.

The original Assassination Classroom manga, created by Yūsei Matsui, ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2012 to 2016. It became a fan favorite for mixing comedy, emotional storytelling, and high-stakes action in a way that felt both unique and memorable.

Now, with this upcoming film, the world of Class 3-E is set to expand even more. Longtime fans will finally see chapters they’ve been waiting for, while newcomers will get a richer look at why this series captured so many hearts in the first place.
