A new teaser visual for Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2 has been released, featuring the beloved character Sui indulging in fried chicken. Studio MAPPA is returning to animate the highly anticipated sequel, which is slated for an October 2025 debut. A trailer for the upcoming season was previously unveiled earlier in May.

Kiyoshi Matsuda is at the helm as director for the second season, with Kenji Takahashi serving as assistant director. Michiko Yokote is responsible for the series composition, while Nao Otsu and Tsuyoshi Kuwahara are handling character designs. The musical score will be composed by Masato Koda, Kana Utatane, and Kuricorder Quartet.

The anime adaptation is based on the light novel series by Ren Eguchi, featuring illustrations by Masa. A manga adaptation by K Akagishi is also available. J-Novel Club holds the English licensing rights for both the light novel and manga. Crunchyroll streams the first season of the anime, which follows the story of Mukoda Tsuyoshi, an ordinary salaryman mistakenly summoned to a magical realm. Despite not being a hero, his unique ability to access an “Online Grocery” and his culinary skills attract various patrons from across the land.
