Studio MAPPA is once again helming the animation, with Kiyoshi Matsuda returning to direct this highly anticipated sequel. The core voice cast is also back, including Yuma Uchida as the ordinary salaryman turned culinary hero, Tsuyoshi Mukouda; Satoshi Hino as the gluttonous wolf, Fel; Hina Kino as the adorable slime, Sui; Maaya Uchida as the goddess Ninril; Yo Taichi as the fiery Agni; Yuko Kaida as the knowledgeable Kisharle; and Saho Shirasu as the elegant Rusalka. Joining this talented ensemble is Ayumu Murase, who will voice the character Dora-chan.
The newly unveiled key visual showcases Mukoda alongside Fel and Sui, hinting at the cozy and heartwarming atmosphere that fans have come to love. The talented team behind the first season is largely returning, with Kenji Takahashi as Assistant Director, Michiko Yokote handling Series Composition, and Nao Otsu and Tsuyoshi Kuwahara in charge of Character Design. Shiho Tanaka and Eriko Ito will serve as Chief Animation Directors, while Tomoki Nagino takes on the role of Art Director. The enchanting music will once again be composed by Masato Koda, Kana Utatane, and Kuricorder Quartet.
Based on the popular isekai light novel series by Ren Eguchi, with illustrations by Masa, and its manga adaptation by K Akagishi, Campfire Cooking in Another World follows Mukoda, a seemingly unremarkable man who gets unexpectedly summoned to a magical realm. His only special ability turns out to be the power to purchase modern groceries online, which, combined with his cooking prowess, leads to surprisingly delicious and beneficial results for the fantastical inhabitants. Crunchyroll streamed the first season, and fans eagerly await the continuation of Mukoda’s culinary journey.
