Good news for CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD fans! The CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez TV anime is gearing up for its “Deluxe Final Arc,” set to premiere in Japan on July 5, 2025. The announcement, made via the franchise’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, also unveiled a new key visual.

This visual highlights the eight finalists of the “Deluxe” tournament, a competition to determine the strongest VANGUARD card fighter: Akina Myodo, Kagetsu Yakumo, Suo Yobitsugi, Erika Myojo, Megumi Okura, Mirei Minae, Michiru Hazama, and Ruka Miyako.
The “D Series” of CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD began with CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD overDress (April – December 2021), followed by CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD will+Dress (July 2022 – October 2023). CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez first aired on January 13, 2024, with its first season running from January to April 2024, and the second from July to October 2024. The “Deluxe Arc” (third season) aired from January 11 to April 19, 2025. The “D Series” is planned to continue through December 2025, marking nine consecutive courses.

The synopsis for the “Deluxe Arc” reveals that after the “Battle of Fate,” Akina receives an invitation to the “Deluxe” tournament, reigniting the card battles. A new character, Nao’s mentor, also appears, posing the question: “What is it that you are playing VANGUARD for?”
