Crunchyroll has announced its home video lineup for August 2025, with a combination of expected titles and coming-back fan favorites. Pre-orders have opened, and physical releases will ship throughout North America throughout the month.
“No Longer Allowed in Another World” Gets Special Treatment
Among its highlights is No Longer Allowed in Another World, which hits both Blu-ray standard and limited edition formats on August 19. Osamu, a depressed author of early 20th-century Japan, is unwittingly transferred to a fantasy realm of zany friends and magical abilities. Not at all thrilled, he just wants a peaceful conclusion—but his destiny is pinned on reliving heroics gone wrong. The release features marketing clips, preview episodes, and clean ending and opening themes. The limited edition also includes a set of three art cards exclusive to this package.
Additional Titles Come in with the August 2025 Home Video Collection
Also included is The Concierge, a computer-animated movie that takes place in a magical department store catering to animals, including ones that no longer exist. New hire Akino has difficulty pleasing some of the more picky, furry customers. This Blu-ray-only title contains trailers, promotional segments, and web previews, and hits shelves on August 12.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 1 is back on Blu-ray August 19. The hit isekai story tracks Rudy, a man reincarnated with all the memories from his past, as he tries to start anew in a fantasy world. Special features include a cast panel, Q&A sessions, and more.
