DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye Theatrical Premiere Heads to 10 Asian Territories

Muse has announced theatrical premiere screenings for the highly anticipated anime “DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye” across 10 Asian territories, commencing May 30, 2025. This special screening will reach audiences in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and India.

“DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye” will showcase the culmination of the first season’s “Evil Eye” arc, along with the initial three episodes of Season 2. Additionally, attendees will be treated to an exclusive interview featuring co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.

The narrative follows Momo, a spirit medium’s descendant, and Okarun, an occult enthusiast, as they delve into a mystery at a hot springs town. Their investigation is quickly complicated by peculiar locals and unforeseen supernatural elements. The story is a blend of horror, comedy and action.

The global release sees GKIDS handling North American theatrical distribution from June 6th, and ADN managing European releases from June 7th. The official premiere of “DAN DA DAN” Season 2 is scheduled for July 2025.

“DAN DA DAN” originates from the manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ since April 2021. Fuga Yamashiro makes his directorial debut with the anime adaptation, produced by Science SARU.
