DAN DA DAN Season 2 Trailer Drops, Evil Eye Fight Previewed

Get ready for more paranormal action! A brand-new trailer has dropped for the second season of the anime DAN DA DAN, highlighting the intense battle between Okarun and Evil Eye. As previously announced, the new season is set to premiere on July 3rd. Check out more information about the DAN DA DAN Season 2 below.

DAN DA DAN Season 2 Trailer Drops

Fans in Asia can catch the first three episodes of DAN DA DAN Season 2 early in theaters under the title DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE starting in late May, courtesy of Muse. North American and European audiences can look forward to theatrical runs beginning in early June through GKIDS and ADN, respectively.

Adding to the excitement, the first official DAN DA DAN exhibition has been announced with the opening of a dedicated account and the reveal of the initial visual. This exhibition will center on the popular manga series and will be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City from June 20th to July 6th.

The original DAN DA DAN manga, penned by Yukinobu Tatsu, has been running on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital platform since April 2021, with 19 volumes currently available in Japan. VIZ Media publishes the English version.

Fuga Yamashiro returns to direct the DAN DA DAN anime at studio Science SARU, with Abel Gongora joining as director for Season 2. The familiar team from the first season is also on board, including kensuke ushio for music composition and Hiroshi Seko handling series composition. Crunchyroll will stream the new season as it airs in July, describing the story as follows:

“When high schooler Momo, hailing from a family of spirit mediums, first encounters her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast, they clash over their beliefs—Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. However, when both supernatural phenomena turn out to be real, Momo unlocks a latent power, and Okarun becomes the host of a curse. Together, they must confront the paranormal threats endangering their world.”
