DAN DA DAN Season 2 is set for a big comeback, starting with an exclusive theatrical outing. Distributor GKIDS released a new, longer trailer for EVIL EYE, the feature-length presentation of Season 2’s initial three episodes.
The movie premiers on May 30, 2025, in limited territories throughout Asia, with North American runs on June 6, and a European premiere on June 7. Filipino audiences have the opportunity to watch the premiere on June 4. The international collaborative effort of the project involves MBS, ADN, GKIDS, and Muse. Streaming the entire season will start on July 3, 2025, as Netflix and Crunchyroll will both be airing the show.
New Faces and Tense Mysteries Loom in DAN DA DAN Season 2
Season 2 resumes the strange adventure of Momo, a feisty high school student who comes from a lineage of mediums, and her friend Okarun, a fan of the occult. Their new assignment brings them to an enigmatic hot springs village, where they will investigate a case that has to do with Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend and one-time crush
What begins as a routine question quickly gets out of hand. The residents behave suspiciously, stalling the team before they can even start. As secrets begin to be revealed, it turns out that this town keeps more than just myths.
The original manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, released in Weekly Shonen Jump, is a horror, sci-fi, and comedy mix. Joined on the return is co-director Fuga Yamashiro, co-director Abel Gongora, and music by Kensuke Ushio.
