Early Screenings of DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye Announced in the Philippines

Robinsons Movieworld has announced exclusive early screenings of the highly anticipated anime film DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye in the Philippines. These special fan events will take place ahead of the movie’s general release, which is scheduled for June 4, 2025.

The first fan screening is set for May 30 at 7:00 PM at Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas. A second screening will follow on June 1 at 4:00 PM at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. These screenings offer fans an early look at content from the anime’s second season and are available only at Robinsons Movieworld locations.

Tickets for the fan screenings are already available for purchase through the Robinsons Movieworld website. Priced at PHP 600 each, the tickets include exclusive merchandise: one A3 key visual poster (randomly selected from two designs) and a set of four character cards featuring the anime’s main characters in dynamic poses.

DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye will feature the first three episodes of the anime’s second season. In addition, it will include a recap of the final episode from season one, providing important context for both new and returning viewers. Fans will also be treated to a behind-the-scenes interview with the film’s co-directors, Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.

This film offers a deeper dive into the ongoing storyline, focusing on the eerie mystery of Jiji’s cursed house. The special screenings will give audiences a unique opportunity to experience the suspense and supernatural themes that have become the series’ signature.

Regional Premiere Across Asia Begins This Month

Muse Communications is in charge of distributing the film across Asia. Screenings will begin on May 30 in several countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and India.

DAN DA DAN is based on a manga created by Yukinobu Tatsu. The manga has been available on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app since 2021. The series marks the directorial debut of Fuga Yamashiro, with animation by the renowned studio Science SARU.
