The highly anticipated English dub of “Kaiju No. 8” Season 2 is set to debut on Crunchyroll, with the first episode going live on Saturday, July 19. Fans can look forward to a same-day release, bringing the action-packed series to a wider audience.

The English dub features a talented cast reprising their roles and new voices joining the fight against the Kaiju. Nazeeh Tarsha returns as the voice of Kafka, while Aaron Dismuke voices Narumi, and Abigail Blythe takes on the role of Kikoru. Other notable cast members for Episode 1 include Christopher Wehkamp as Isao, Marcus Stimac as Eiji, and Adam McArthur as Reno. Landon McDonald voices Hoshina, Katelyn Barr is Mina, and Alexis Tipton voices young Kafka, with Katelyn Barr also voicing young Mina.

Behind the scenes, Shawn Gann is the Voice Director, with Susie Nixon as Producer. The adaptation is handled by Dallas Reid (with Jarrod Greene for the series), Nathanael Harrison is the Mixer, and Victor Acosta serves as Engineer.

The animation for “Kaiju No. 8” Season 2 continues at studio Production I.G, with Shigeyuki Miya directing. Yuichiro Kido is responsible for series composition, Tetsuya Nishio handles character designs, and Yuta Bando composes the music. The series is based on the original manga by Naoya Matsumoto.

For those new to the series, Crunchyroll describes “Kaiju No. 8” as a story set in a world threatened by monstrous creatures called Kaiju. Kafka Hibino, who once dreamed of joining The Defense Force with his childhood friend Mina Ashiro, finds his aspiration rekindled after meeting Reno Ichikawa during his work cleaning up after Kaiju battles. Reno’s determination inspires Kafka to revisit his promise to Mina and dedicate himself to protecting humanity.
