Lily’s Charms Highlighted in New Trailer for “The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows”

A brand-new character trailer focusing on the main heroine, Lily, has been released for the currently airing spring 2025 anime series, The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows. Voiced by Miharu Hanai, who also played Tomoe Murakami in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, Lily is described on the official website as “an elf girl who was saved from near death by Zenos. She decides to support him and lives with him at the clinic.”

The newly released clip showcases Lily’s endearing moments from the anime’s episodes aired thus far and features the series’ ending theme song, “Tsuki ni Negau” (“Make a wish on the moon”), performed by singer-songwriter sorato.

The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows, adapted from the fantasy light novel series by Sakaku Hishikawa (story) and Daburyu (illustrations), premiered in Japan on April 3, 2025. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime for viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia.

Crunchyroll provides the following synopsis for the series:

Banished as “useless,” Zenos, a self-taught healer from the slums, turns despair into defiance and opens a secret clinic in the city’s shadows. With unlicensed, unmatched magic, he cures, comforts, and rights wrongs, quietly becoming a legend. But as his power grows, even the royal palace takes notice. Can he buck the odds and heal a world that cast him aside?
