The anime My Awkward Senpai, based on Makoto Kudo’s popular romantic comedy manga, has released its main trailer and a new visual. It’s now confirmed that the show will start airing in October 2025.

Fans are also excited about the new opening song by Angela, called “Bukiyō na I Love You.” With new voice actors and staff added to the team, people are looking forward to this fun and lighthearted office romance.

The new trailer for My Awkward Senpai was released on July 21 and gives fans a good idea of what to expect this October.

In the trailer, Azusa is shown as a strict boss in the office but shy and cute in private. It also gives a glimpse of her relationship with Yu, who is voiced by new voice actor Shogo Sakata.

The opening song is titled “Bukiyō na I Love You” and is sung by the popular music group angela. The song has a fun and romantic feel that matches the mood of the anime. Voice actress Lynn returns to play Azusa, while Ami Maeshima and Mitsuki Saiga join the cast as Mio Hotta and Ritsu Kankaiji.

It is directed by Ayumu Kotake, with Mio Inoue writing the script, Kenrō Tokuda designing the characters, and Kōji Fujimoto handling the music.

What to Expect?

The anime’s production team includes many skilled professionals. Studio Elle has taken care of everything, including animation, background art, props, CG work, and sound. This suggests the anime will have great quality and smooth visuals.

The show will be aired on Tokyo MX and BS Nippon TV in the fall season. However, the exact date has not been announced yet. Both the trailer and the visual have impressed fans with colorful artwork and voice acting that stays true to the original manga.
