TOHO Animation has finally released a brand-new trailer for My Hero Academia, titled “Final Season.” A new preview reveals not only the highly anticipated Deku vs. Shigaraki battle but also a thrilling rematch between Armored All Might and All For One. Fans everywhere are eagerly awaiting the epic conclusion to this beloved story.

My Hero Academia Final Season Trailer

On June 16, also known as Hero Day in Japan, Studio Bones released the first full trailer for My Hero Academia Season 8, officially confirming it as the final season of the anime. Although the trailer is brief, it’s packed with emotional and intense moments. We see a tired but determined All Might preparing to fight All For One again, and Deku facing off against Shigaraki in what looks like their final battle.

The trailer feels serious and powerful, showcasing how far Deku has come and the importance of this fight. Directed by Naomi Nakayama with Kenji Nagasaki as chief director, the trailer follows earlier teasers shown at AnimeJapan.

Although the exact release date isn’t revealed yet, the trailer confirms the final season will arrive in October 2025 and will stream worldwide on Crunchyroll at the same time as in Japan.

Recap of MHA Season 7

Season 7 aired from May 4 to October 12, 2024, with a total of 21 episodes, covering manga volumes 34 to 39. It introduced a powerful new character, Star and Stripe—the top hero from America. The season focused on the heavy emotions and intense battles of the Final War arc.
