Reborn as a Vending Machine: Third Season Announced
The makers of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon, have officially confirmed that the anime will continue with a third season. The news came right after the season two finale, along with a special illustration released to celebrate the announcement. It was a small but exciting teaser that quickly caught fans’ attention.

The journey of this series began back in 2016, when Hirukuma first published the light novel online through Shōsetsuka ni Naro. Later, Kadokawa Shoten picked it up with artwork by Itsuwa Kato. Since then, the franchise has grown steadily, with a manga version drawn by Kunieda starting in 2021. For international readers, Yen Press currently publishes both the light novel and the manga in English.
Season three will also see the return of the familiar cast. Jun Fukuyama voices Boxxo, and Kaede Hondo returns as Lammis, while Shiki Aoki, Miyu Tomita, and others are also reprising their roles. This returning lineup helps keep the same personality and heart that fans have enjoyed from the start. The animation will once again be handled by studios Gokumi and AXsiZ, who worked on the earlier seasons as well.

The story’s premise remains as unusual and charming as ever. After a fatal traffic accident, the main character finds himself reborn not as a hero or adventurer, but as a vending machine inside a fantasy dungeon. With no ability to walk or talk like a human, he has to rely on his vending machine functions and the help of others to survive.
