The “extreme action-RPG” Tribe Nine, launched by Akatsuki Games on February 20th, is ending its service on November 27th, 2025. The publisher and developer announced the upcoming shutdown of the free-to-play game, which is available on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.
Tribe Nine to Shut Down Service in November
This decision means that planned updates, including new playable characters like Ichinosuke and Saizo Akiba, as well as Chapter 4 of the story, will no longer be released. Sales of paid in-game currency have already been halted as of May 14th.
In a message shared on their official social media, the Tribe Nine team expressed regret for the sudden announcement and thanked players for their support since the game’s launch. They stated that the decision to terminate service came after careful consideration, despite their efforts to provide excellent service and improve player experience. Further details regarding the service termination schedule and related procedures will be announced in-game and on the official website.
