YAIBA: Samurai Legend Cour 2 is all set to return with more exciting adventures. On June 27, the anime revealed a brand-new trailer along with a fresh key visual, giving fans a glimpse of what’s coming next. The second cour will continue the story right where it left off, bringing in new characters, intense action, and updated themes.
Created by WIT Studio and based on Gosho Aoyama’s manga, the anime first aired in April and quickly became a fan favorite.

The new trailer looks at intense battles, touching reunions, and big story developments. One standout moment is the arrival of Nadeko, a character from Yaiba’s past, voiced by Sayaka Senbongi. Her return adds both emotion and depth to the storyline. The animation remains colorful and fast-paced, with fans praising its unique visual style.
Cour 2 also introduces fresh music. The new opening is a special “Kizuna version” of the song Blade by Blue Encount. The ending theme, Action!, is performed by Kairi Yagi. These songs are expected to bring a new feel to the show as Yaiba’s journey continues.
The production team remains strong, with Takahiro Hasui as director, Touko Machida handling the series composition, Yoshimichi Kameda supervising characters, and music by Yutaka Yamada and Yoshiaki Dewa. Together, they help bring WIT Studio’s signature high-quality style to life once again.

Release Date and Where to Watch?
In Japan, new episodes of YAIBA: Samurai Legend Cour 2 will air every Saturday on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV, starting from June 28, 2025, at 5:30 PM JST. For international viewers, the anime is licensed by VIZ Media.
Cour 2 will be available to watch on Netflix in regions like North America, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. In the United States, it will also be streamed on Hulu, just like the first cour.
