Anime fans are getting excited because Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days will finally start airing on September 30, 2025, in Japan on Nippon TV, BS11, and AT-X. Before the broadcast, there will also be a special livestream event on September 13.
To make things even more interesting, the team revealed two new cast members: Satoshi Hino will play Yano’s father, and Takuya Eguchi will voice Omiya-sensei, the teacher.
Yano-kun Anime Debuts This September
Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days is based on the manga by Yui Tamura and has been slowly building excitement over the past few months. Earlier trailers and visuals introduced the main cast, including Kohei Amasaki as Yano, Yuka Nukui as Kiyoko, and other classmates who help shape the story.
Now, with the new additions of Satoshi Hino and Takuya Eguchi, the anime has an even stronger lineup of voice talent. Hino, well-known for voicing strong fatherly characters, will bring warmth to Yano’s dad. Eguchi, on the other hand, takes on the role of Omiya-sensei, a teacher who will likely add both humor and guidance to the story.
These casting choices show that the production team wants to make the anime lively and relatable. The timing of the announcements, together with the livestream event, also helps keep fans engaged right up until the official broadcast in late September.

Plot Overview
The story of Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days is simple but very heartwarming. It follows Tsuyoshi Yano, a high school boy who seems to attract bad luck wherever he goes. He often gets into silly accidents or awkward situations, but that’s what makes him so relatable and funny.
His classmate, Kiyoko, starts noticing his troubles and quietly looks out for him.
