100 Meters Anime Film Streams English Dub

The English-dubbed version of 100 Meters is officially streaming, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the film in North America. Directed by Kenji Iwaisawa, the movie is based on Uoto’s manga Hyakuemu, which follows Togashi, a naturally talented track star, and Komiya, a transfer student with determination but little technique. The story focuses on their journey, from mentor and student to rivals on the track, exploring friendship, rivalry, and personal growth.

GKIDS, the film’s North American distributor, has released the official English-dubbed trailer, which not only previews the animation but also introduces the English voice cast. The dub features Tori Matsuzaka as Togashi and Shōta Sometani as Komiya, along with Kōki Uchiyama, Kenjirō Tsuda, and Rie Takahashi in supporting roles. The cast also includes Jun Kasama, Yuki Tanaka, Atsumi Tanezaki, Aoi Yūki, Yūma Uchida, Junya Enoki, Haruki Ishiya, Hiiro Ishibashi, and Tomokazu Sugita, bringing depth and personality to the characters.

Adding to the film’s appeal is its theme song, “Rashisa,” performed by the Japanese rock band HiGE DANDISM. The music complements the story’s emotional highs and athletic intensity, enhancing the viewing experience. With its compelling narrative, dynamic animation, and talented cast, 100 Meters promises to be an exciting release for both long-time anime fans and newcomers alike.
