Netflix has released the first trailer for One Piece Season 2, called One Piece: Into the Grand Line, during the 2025 One Piece Day event in Tokyo. The trailer shows Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji leaving the East Blue and starting their adventure in the mysterious Grand Line.

Fans also get a first look at new friends and enemies like Brogy, Vivi (Miss Wednesday), Nico Robin (Miss All-Sunday), and Vice-Admiral Smoker. Tony Tony Chopper, teased earlier at Netflix’s Tudum event, has not been shown yet. Season 2 will be released in 2026, though the exact date is not confirmed.

Netflix has already confirmed that One Piece will have a Season 3, even before Season 2 is released. This early renewal shows how successful the series has been and that Netflix plans to keep the story going. Filming for Season 3 is expected to start in late 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa.

There will also be some changes behind the scenes—Ian Stokes will work with Joe Tracz as co-showrunner, taking over from the previous team to guide the next chapter.

With the story now heading deeper into the Grand Line, Season 3 is expected to bring even bigger battles, new islands, and more fan-favorite characters.
