The film is directed by Tetsuo Yajima, who has worked on the Doraemon series for many years. Although he has been involved in TV episodes and earlier films, this will be his first time as a director of a Doraemon movie. The screenplay is written by Isao Murayama, also known for writing Doraemon TV episodes. This is his first time writing for the movie series, which brings a mix of familiar style and new ideas.
