The wait is finally over for the fan, as Black Clover is officially coming back with a brand-new second season. At Anime Expo 2025, Crunchyroll announced the return of the popular anime, along with a new teaser visual and trailer. Black Clover Season 2: First Trailer with Release Schedule

The big reveal happened during Crunchyroll’s Industry Panel on July 5, 2025, at Anime Expo, and it got fans super excited all around the world. Studio Pierrot, which handled the original anime, is returning for this new season.

This means we can expect the same style and quality as before. To celebrate the announcement, two special teaser visuals were shared—one for Japan and one for the global audience. Both featured Asta in his powerful new Devil-Union form, which comes from the Spade Kingdom Raid arc.

Set to release in 2026, this exciting news has brought back the hype for Asta and Yuno’s magical adventure.

A trailer was also released, showing a mix of memorable moments from the 2017 to 2021 episodes and short glimpses of the new season. It ended with brand-new artwork that gave fans a hint of the adventure ahead. This exciting news also marks the 10th anniversary of Yūki Tabata’s original manga, that loved by so many fans in worldwide.

Tabata thanked fans and said he was very happy about the anime’s return, promising that it will be even better this time. Black Clover first aired in 2017 and ran for 170 episodes, becoming a hit across the globe.

It later expanded into movies and stage plays. To make the wait easier, Crunchyroll will stream all 171 episodes on TVer starting July 22, 2025.
