Crunchyroll Unveils English Dub Casts for Three New Anime Seasons

Crunchyroll has released the English dub casts and crews for three of its newly streaming anime titles, expanding its dubbed offerings for global audiences. These include the second season of Bye Bye, Earth, the latest arc of Black Butler, and the sophomore season of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level.

Bye Bye, Earth Season 2

The second installment of Bye Bye, Earth debuted on WOWOW in Japan on April 4, with broadcasts and streaming scheduled at 11:30 p.m. JST. The English-dubbed version began streaming on Crunchyroll this past Friday.

The voice cast features Megan Shipman in the lead role of Belle, joined by Elise Baughman (Benedictine), Sean Letourneau (Bennett), Ethan Condon (Gwyn), Katie Wetch (Mist), and Kyle Igneczi (Kitty).

The dubbing team includes Lee George as voice director, with Zach Bolton producing. Domonique French handled the script adaptation, while Rickey Watkins and Sawyer Pfledderer oversaw mixing and engineering, respectively.

The anime originally premiered in July 2024, with Crunchyroll simulcasting the series in over 200 regions worldwide.

Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc

The English version of Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc went live on Saturday. The new arc began airing in Japan on April 5 on Tokyo MX and additional networks such as BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. ABEMA handled simultaneous streaming, with further availability on MBS and other platforms from April 8.

Brina Palencia returns as Ciel Phantomhive alongside J. Michael Tatum reprising his role as Sebastian. The cast also includes Sarah Wiedenheft (Sieglinde Sullivan), Conner Allison (Wolfram), Alex Moore (Hilde), Ernesto Jason Liebrecht (Finnian), Monica Rial (Mey-Rin), Ian Sinclair (Baldroy), and others rounding out the extended ensemble.

Caitlin Glass directed the dub with Samantha Herek producing. James Cheek provided the English adaptation, while Neal Malley mixed the audio and Victor Acosta served as engineer.

I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level 2

The second season of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level premiered on April 5 via AT-X at 9:30 p.m. JST, with additional broadcasts on Tokyo MX and BS11. Crunchyroll began streaming the English dub on Saturday.

The cast includes Skyler Davenport as the immortal protagonist Azusa, supported by Xanthe Huynh (Halkara), Rachelle Heger (Laika), Lizzie Freeman (Falfa), Suzie Yeung (Shalsha), Abigail Blythe (Mega-Mega), Anne Yatco (Rosalie), Ryan Bartley (Natalie), and Amber Lee Connors (Flatorte).

Jerry Jewell led the voice direction, while Susie Nixon produced the dub. Jessica Sluys adapted the script, with James Baker mixing and Derric Benavides handling the engineering work, supported by Joe Sandoval across the series.
