A fresh key visual has been revealed for Demon Slayer Infinity Castle: Part 1 – Akaza Returns that showcases Akaza, formerly known as Hakuji, in addition to Koyuki. The illustration key visual highlights Akaza’s past and Akaza and Koyuki’s relationship, giving fans a more personal look into Akaza’s character.
Along with the key visual, brief catchphrases were also shared that seem to indicate that this part of the story will highlight Akaza’s human side just as much as his demon side.
Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Visual Highlights: Akaza’s Past
The newly released sixth key visual is an emotional rollercoaster. It puts the spotlight on Akaza and his human identity, Hakuji, along with the character Koyuki. The visual is seriously beautiful, showing the two of them standing together under a sky full of fireworks, a stark contrast to the dark and bloody battles we’re used to.
To make it even more impactful, the art comes with two heartbreaking lines: “I will protect you for the rest of my life,” and “Will you be my husband?” This is a total change of pace from the previous visuals, which were all about the intense fights we’ve seen teased, like Tanjiro and Giyu against Akaza himself or Shinobu Kocho’s confrontation with Doma.
