Exciting news is coming for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fans. The next big part of the series is on the way, and we’ve already got a small taste of what’s coming. A teaser trailer and cast announcements have been shared, giving us a first look at Steel Ball Run (Part 7). From the unique art style to the thrilling horse-race setting, everything feels like classic JoJo, setting up what could be one of the most exciting parts so far.
JoJo’s Steel Ball Run Anime Reveals Cast and Trailer
The team behind the anime includes many returning staff members. Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi are co-directing, with Toshiyuki Kato as the series director.
Yasuko Kobayashi is in charge of the story structure, Daisuke Tsumagari is designing the characters, Yugo Kanno will handle the music, and Yoshikazu Iwanami is the sound director. Animation will be done by David Production, known for their work on previous JoJo parts.
The teaser trailer also confirmed that Steel Ball Run will be available worldwide on Netflix in 2026, though the exact release date hasn’t been shared yet.

For those who don’t know, Steel Ball Run is the seventh part of the JoJo series. It follows Johnny Joestar, a paralyzed jockey, and Gyro Zeppeli as they take part in a huge cross-country horse race in America. The story is full of supernatural powers called “Stands,” twists, and dangerous adventures. The manga originally ran from 2004 to 2011.
