The newest theatrical entry in the Lupin the IIIrd series, The Immortal Bloodline, has premiered a new trailer and key visual, as well as two new additions to its voice cast. The feature opens in Japanese theaters on June 27, 2025. Newly-added cast members are Ainosuke Kataoka, who will provide the voice of Muom, and Aoi Morikawa, who will play Salifa. Both actors should have interesting roles to play in the movie’s enigmatic plot.
A Return to High-Stakes Adventure
Under the direction of Takeshi Koike, the movie is produced by Telecom Animation Film. The script is by Yuya Takahashi, with music by James Shimoji. Katsuhito Ishii is part of the team as creative advisor and worked on the overall tone and visual aesthetic of the movie. TMS Entertainment takes charge of production, while distribution in Japan will be carried out by TOHO NEXT.
Based on Monkey Punch’s first manga, the tale is about master thief Arsene Lupin III and his loyal friends going on a new adventure. They travel to an unknown island known to conceal an incredible treasure. But typical of all of Lupin’s endeavors, peril never lingers far away.
The new clips whet the appetite for stylish action, suspenseful turns, and the well-known chemistry of the gang members. The island backdrop looks lush with secrets, and a new layer of tension is added to the hunt for treasure. The visuals display the gritty look and high-stakes feel of the film, something that fans of Koike’s previous work on the franchise will probably be familiar with.

Muom and Salifa’s addition suggests fresh alliances and rivalries that may change the group dynamic. With Koike at the helm and a seasoned production team behind the film, The Immortal Bloodline seems primed to push the Lupin the IIIrd universe in bold new directions.
Japanese viewers can expect to see the film on the big screen from June 27. International market release details are currently unannounced.
