A new key visual and the main voice cast have been revealed for the upcoming anime series, Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy, also known as Kanan-sama Is Easy as Hell. The anime, which was first announced in April of this year, is slated for a 2026 premiere with Studio KAI handling the animation.

The primary cast members bringing the characters to life are Aoi Koga as Kanan Takakiyo and Seiichiro Yamashita as Yoji Kyogi. Both actors shared their excitement about their roles.
Seiichiro Yamashita, who voices Yoji Kyogi, recalled being encouraged to embody a “pervert” during his audition, expressing his anticipation for portraying Kyogi-kun’s distinctive and sincere nature. He also enthusiastically highlighted Kanan-sama’s undeniable cuteness.
Aoi Koga, the voice of Kanan Takakiyo, shared her delight in playing a character with such a broad range of emotions, finding Kanan-sama both “fun and and cute.” She expressed gratitude for being chosen for the role and emphasized how captivated she was by the fast-paced original story and its lively, chaotic characters. Koga particularly noted Kanan-sama’s “devilish cuteness” as something she’s eager to see animated.

Both Koga and Yamashita’s characters are featured in the newly released visual, which serves as the second teaser visual for the anime.
The anime is based on the Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi manga, written and illustrated by Nonco. The manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since June 2022, with Volume 10 set to release in Japan on July 16. The story follows Kanan, a female demon disguised as a high school student, who intends to prey on a male student’s soul but unexpectedly finds herself in a relationship contract. This sets off a “whirlwind of sweet-and-sour youth and nonstop gags” as the pure-hearted demon experiences love for the first time.
