Tournament Format
The Grand Finals will feature 18 matches spread over three days, with six matches played daily. A distinctive “Smash Rule” will come into play on Day 3 of the Grand Finals:
- A team must first reach or surpass a “Match Point Target,” calculated as the current #1 ranked team’s total points plus an additional 10 points.
- Once this target is met, the team must then secure a victory in any of the subsequent matches on Day 3 to claim the championship. Winning the same match in which they reach the threshold will not be enough to clinch the title.
- Should no team manage to win the championship via the Smash Rule after all 18 matches are completed, the team with the highest overall points will be crowned the champion under standard scoring rules.
