Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4 Reveals Theme Songs Artist and Visual

The popular romantic comedy anime Rent-a-Girlfriend is set to return with its fourth season on July 4, 2025. The upcoming season will feature new opening and ending theme songs, as well as a special “date visual” spotlighting the character Sumi Sakurasawa. Fans can look forward to the continuation of Kazuya Kinoshita’s romantic misadventures, this time set against the backdrop of the Hawaiian Arc.

Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4 New Theme Songs

The opening theme song for this season is titled “Umitsuki” and will be performed by ClariS, marking their first work as a trio. The ending theme, “Boku no Vega,” will be performed by Regal Lily. These songs are expected to capture the emotional nuances of the series’ romantic developments

Season 4 of Rent-a-Girlfriend will premiere on July 4, 2025, and is planned to be split into two cours, with a break between them. The new season will adapt the Hawaiians Arc, taking the characters to a Hawaiian-themed setting in Fukushima Prefecture. A recently released “date visual” features Sumi Sakurasawa in a serene spring setting, holding cherry blossom petals and sitting beside a suitcase, hinting at the upcoming trip.

The voice cast is back for Season 4, with Shun Horie as Kazuya Kinoshita, Sora Amamiya as Chizuru Mizuhara, Aoi Yuki as Mami Nanami, Nao Toyama as Ruka Sarashina, Rie Takahashi as Sumi Sakurasawa, and Yu Serizawa as Mini Yaemori. Kazuomi Koga is also returning to direct the season, joined by Mitsutaka Hirota on series composition and Kanna Hirayama as the character designer. Music will once again be composed by Hyadain, with animation by TMS Entertainment.

Plot Overview of Rent-a-Girlfriend

Rent-a-Girlfriend, based on Reiji Miyajima’s manga serialized since 2017 in Weekly Shonen Magazine, follows the story of Kazuya Kinoshita, a college student who, after a painful breakup, hires Chizuru Mizuhara through a rental girlfriend service.

Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as they navigate personal feelings, family expectations, and the involvement of other women. The series has been praised for its blend of humor, drama, and romantic tension.
