For international fans, Crunchyroll has previously streamed several Monster Strike anime titles. Their offerings include the original web anime series (2016-2018), the spin-off MSonic! The original web anime series introduces protagonist Ren Homura, who returns to his former home of Kaminohara, grappling with fragmented memories. A mysterious game, also called Monster Strike, is installed on his phone, thrusting him into battles that help him piece together his past and uncover the game’s secrets. He navigates these challenges with companions Aoi Mizusawa, Akira Kagetsuki, and Minami Wakaba, venturing into an unforeseen world of hidden truths.
