Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is coming back with Season 3, and fans won’t have to wait much longer for a sneak peek. The first teaser trailer will be released on July 6, 2025, giving us a look at the next part of Rudeus’ adventure.
The anime is based on the popular light novel by Rifujin na Magonote, with illustrations by Shirotaka. Crunchyroll handles the anime, and Seven Seas releases the English version of the novel.
Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Trailer and More
Season 3 of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation was officially announced right after Season 2 ended in June 2024, making this the first big update fans have received since then.
The first teaser trailer will be revealed at Crunchyroll’s panel during Anime Expo 2025, one of the biggest anime events in the world. After the panel, the trailer will also be available on YouTube for fans around the globe to watch. Like the previous seasons, Studio Bind will continue animating Season 3.
Season 1 aired in 2021 with 23 episodes, while Season 2 was split across 2023 and 2024 with 24 episodes. The new season will adapt Volume 14 of the light novel series. In this part of the story, Rudeus teams up with Nanahoshi and others as they visit the floating fortress of Perugius.
However, things take a serious turn when one of their companions falls gravely ill, and Rudeus must act quickly to save them. Season 3 promises more emotional and intense moments ahead.

Plot Overview and What to Expect
In Season 3, the story moves forward after Rudeus finishes magic school. He has started a family, got married, and is trying to move on after losing his father.
But things won’t stay peaceful for long. Rudeus, Nanahoshi, and their group will travel to the floating fortress of Perugius, where they face a serious illness that threatens to jeopardize their journey.
Fans can also look forward to big moments like Rudeus meeting his future self, fighting strong enemies like Orsted, and the possible return of Eris. There’s a lot of action, emotion, and surprises ahead.
