Crunchyroll and Discord have partnered to bring a My Hero Academia-themed profile collection to the Discord platform, marking a unique collaboration for an anime series. This partnership allows users in North America, Latin America, EMEA, and Australia/New Zealand to personalize their Discord profiles with exclusive My Hero Academia content starting May 21, 2025.
Crunchyroll and Discord Unite for My Hero Academia Profiles
The collaboration introduces a collection of eight Avatar Decorations and three Profile Effects, inspired by popular My Hero Academia characters and their distinctive Quirks. Featured characters include Izuku Midoriya (Deku), Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, All Might, and Tomura Shigaraki.
This initiative comes as anticipation builds for My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON (Season 8), slated to premiere on Crunchyroll in October 2025. Anna Songco Adamian, Crunchyroll’s Vice President of Global Consumer Products, emphasized how this collaboration enables users to express their inner hero, aligning perfectly with the upcoming final season.

The launch of the My Hero Academia Shop Collection on Discord also precedes the 2025 Anime Awards on May 25, where the series has secured nominations for Film of the Year for My Hero Academia: You’re Next and Best Continuing Series for its seventh season.
The My Hero Academia manga, created by Kohei Horikoshi, was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2014 to August 2024, concluding after a decade-long run. Studio BONES animated the first season in 2016, followed by six more seasons, with Season 7 concluding on October 12, 2024. The franchise has also produced four films, including the recent My Hero Academia: You’re Next, which was released on Blu-ray & DVD in Japan on February 19, 2025, and is scheduled for Netflix streaming from April 20. Fans can also explore the ongoing spin-off anime, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, set five years prior to the main storyline.
