This warning comes after Mugen Train Arc revival screenings began in Japan on May 9th, featuring the exclusive Infinity Castle Arc trailer. North American screenings with the trailer are confirmed to start on May 14th, courtesy of Crunchyroll.
The highly anticipated Infinity Castle film is set to premiere in Japan on July 18th, with a global release following on August 14th.
Crunchyroll, which currently streams all seasons of the Demon Slayer TV anime, will handle the worldwide theatrical distribution of the Infinity Castle film (excluding select Asian territories) in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment.
For those unfamiliar with the series, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime is described as follows:
It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
This incident serves as a strong reminder of the legal ramifications associated with unauthorized recording and distribution of copyrighted material. Fans eager to catch the Infinity Castle Arc trailer are encouraged to attend the official Mugen Train Arc revival screenings in theaters.
